All,
Taking my '66 driver front end apart to rebuild the worn suspension. I was shocked to find someone before me used carriage bolts in place of the original flat top shock tower bracket bolts that go over the coil spring. I also found the LH side turn stop (bracket which bolts to the top on the strut rod and keeps the spindle from turning too far) was partially damaged/broken. Needless to say I need original replacement pieces off of another car. Does anyone have a car they are parting out there and can sell me these things? Here's the list:
- 6 shock absorber mounting cap bolts w/original style nuts (have built-in washers)
- 1 LH spindle stop bracket
- 4 upper shock mounting bolts (hold the shock in place at the top)
Any help would greatly be appreciated!

If your car is a driver I would try AMK or a mustang vendor who carries their nuts and bolts.
