Title: Lower dash pad and windshield pillar pads
Post by: 68 GT on December 19, 2022, 09:57:11 PM
For our 67 coupe with 2B interior, why are the new lower dash pads and windshield pillar pads are only in a dark blue? Just got my order which had several interior components in it. The door panels, arm rest, and dash pad all look pretty good, a dark blue that should be pretty close to the dark blue in the seat upholstery, when I order it. The door panels and seat upholstery are from TMI. Dash pad from Dashes Direct. The lower dash pad and windshield pillar pads are also from Dashes Direct, but with the technology now, why can?t they be made at least something close to a lighter blue that was original to the era? Just seems disappointing that something close to the correct color isn?t available.

I may buy the Aqua lower dash pad and windshield pillar pads and see how they look. I still have the originals, I should try to clean them and see how they look as well. Just seems like the repro companies could manufacture something at least closer to the correct color.
