Trying to get a C6 transmission set up for my mustang.
I have 3 springs I could use in an H code servo I picked up (it was missing the spring). I have a yellow one, a plain one and a blue one.
Could one of these be correct spring to match the "H" intermediate servo?
If not, what should i be looking for?

If I am reading the MPAC correctly Section A70.5 page 4 and 6, two springs (P/N 70D28) are possible.
The first spring (#28) is for a 1967 390 GT after 1/4/67 and it is 2.66 inches with 9.5 coils. This spring is also used for a 1968 390 GT and the 428. No color was listed.
The second coil (#29) is for a 1967 390 GT before 1/4/67, and 2.39 inches with 8 coils and is yellow.

That's what I see as well in the 1968 MPC. Pictures included so that you can see all of the information.

Regarding the "H" code, from the previous pictures from the MPC, it looks like the "PGB-H, H1" was used on the full size Ford (A), Fairlane (B), and Thunderbird (S) depending on the year. I don't see any Mustang application. Note that this is in regards to the "transmission model" and may not equate to the servo identification. Just pointing it out.

H servo was used on 67 and early 68 GT 500 Shelby application.

If the transmission is a PGB-H the (#29) spring is the correct spring at 2.39 inches with 8 coils and is yellow.

according to my build date of 12-15-66 , the PGA-P would be the O.E. trans , using the # 29 yellow spring.
thanks, this is great to find this info! I spent a LOT of time searching. I will measure the springs pictured and post results tomorrow. am curious to see if the yellow and plain one match the info for 28 and 29.

the color codes do not match up, but the center one pictured in first post is close to specs for #29
measurements came out as:
first : 1.89" and 6-3/4 coils not close to any listed here
second: 2.29" and 8-3/8 coils close to #29 specs(will use this one)
third: 2.53" and 8-7/8 coils close to # 28 specs
