Title: 67 Shelby GT500 or 67 Mustang 390 type date code oil pan?

Hi all,

I have a question does a 67 Shelby GT500 or 67 Mustang 390 were always with a date coded oil pan From factory Assembly Line ?

Anyone have any information please ?

From Assembly Line San Jose build they were always with a FoMoCo in a rectangle and they always had a date code please?

Kyle, I restored a 67 390GT that had its original oil pan and it had the date stamped on it.

Ok thanks a lot. Do you know what was the cast date of the engine and the date code on your oil pan please?

You will want to use the engine assembly date stamped on the block not the block cast date.
