Title: 64.5 Seat Belt Question

Should the clasp on the belt and the eye bolt that it connects to that screws into the floor both be clear zinc plated?

Looks like that would work. Never tested them to see what exactly the original finish was. If too bright or shinny easy enough to dull them down

Thanks Jeff. Once I pull them and remove the dull grey residue I will test to see if they react to phosphoric acid the way zinc normally does.

Soak them in evaporust, parts that are cad plated will come out yellowish color/chalky.
