Looking for a nice set of AC lines that would have been on a 1967 or 1968 289 car. This would be the long hoses that route from the compressor to the firewall area. See pictures of what I have and what they look like after years in Arizona. Not ideal.
If you have anything or know anyone who has something good let me know. Working on a 68 where we need these.

FYI the 67 lines are typically different in the crimp area compared to a 68. The ones pictured are 68 with aluminum crimp and the 67 are more typically brass. I do not know when the change over occurred. Can you be more precise on the condition that will work? Obviously the best you can find but other then that.

Good eye Bob!....yes indeed these photos I posted are from a 68. I removed them myself so know that. Its from a December 22nd San Jose built car.
What I am looking for is as nice as possible AC hoses - ideally something that is more dusty than anything else. If you can still see the lettering on the hoses and the plating on the ends is in decent shape that would be best case scenario. The owner wants the best of the best. Since I posted photos of what I am not looking for (condition) here is photos of what I would like to find....something like this.....

I thought i would mention because I see them missing from the restored picture are that original hoses are identified with small white vinyl ID stickers typically placed towards the compressor end. Jeff Yergovich has had them accurately made up . They seldom survive well even on the best hoses.

If you locate a decent set of 67 hoses, I might be willing to negotiate a very good set off a 68.

Bob....sticker is there just on the bottom. Is this what you are referring to?

Random question. The hoses pictured are off of a big block car due to the S bend on the end?
Thanks, Pat

Same hoses regardless.

Yes that is the one Bob is surely referring to. I made a couple of versions (for different years) up in the past. They didn't hold up well to the elements plus the exterior surface of the hoses apparently didn't help either
