I just received my '64 1/2 driveshaft done by Jack at Dead Nuts On. It is bare metal, and will rust unless I coat it with something. I have clear lacquer spray, and some Boeshield Tim Lea left me after restoring my KR he liked to coat bare metal parts with. Which would be best considering I am entering it into Driven Concours at the MCA National in June? Thanks for any opinions.

RPM by ECS is good. Would definitely not use clearcoat, that's just asking for trouble.

I purchased a driveshaft form Deadnuts for our 67 GT350. Wiped it clean with a solvent to remove protective shipping coating, make sure what ever you use for solvent does not disturb the paint markings. Then I doused the driveshaft and u-joints with T9 Boeshield.

Thanks for the ideas!
