Title: 1970 Shaker Hood Stripe

For 1970, did non-Mach1 shaker hoods get stripes or was shaker available without hood stripes?

The shaker option did not include or require a stripe  though they (hood stripes) could be ordered on none Mach Is and other body styles

According to Ford literature, a shaker got you a hood stripe in either black or white. So the optional part would only be the color, or perhaps a delete although I've never seen a stripe delete "option" or "feature" on a Deluxe Marti Report.

I stand corrected - :)   Thanks. Wonder how early that page was constructed since the area of quote is not exactly correct as to the stripe description. Just another example of Ford documentation not being always correct or us finding documentation that was later corrected or changed. Have to look through a bunch of Mart reports to see if I can find an example of one of the cars without the stripe
