Hi all,
What are the correct Original Assembly Line type spark plugs wires for a 67 Shelby GT500 built at San Jose 1966 December please?
No A/C, No Thermactor
Any information please?

Autolite Radio Resistant with dates identifying the production quarter of the year they were produced. Pictures of some of these details (date related) are in the decoding date code article in the library

A Dec 66 build may have a plug set that was prior to 4 quarter 66. Jeff do you have any BB wire sets in your picture collection that have a 4Q66 date code? A early set would also black boots.

Remember that details such as this are governed by the engine assembly date not when the car was built. ;)

Guess your going to bring up when Ford transitioned from the Ford to the Autolite and the numbered to dated wires on the FE engines. To the question, I didn't find any pictures 3Q66, 4Q66, 1Q67 or 2Q67 wires but don't have a allot of close up details of spark plug wires in the correction currently
