Trying to determine what casting number, part number, year and application this water pump is.
I think its aluminium.
Couldn't find a specific reference to it in the library apart from a photo in this thread:
"Sept 64 Dearborn C Code Fastback - Unrestored Picture Thread" (sorry haven't worked out how to copy threads or photos from this site yet).
Couldn't find a photo match in Bob Mannel's book either.
Timing cover in photo seems to be a 1965 C4OE-6059A (Mannel p 5-32)
The attached photos are from my 66 San Jose coupe 6R07K1855XX - Proposed build date 14D.

The picture is not of a Ford original waterpump . It is a aftermarket pump of the aluminum style used prior to approximate June 1965 on V8 Mustangs. Don't waste any time on it because it is a generic aftermarket pump. Look in Mannels book for appropriate cast iron waterpump look and timing cover used on a 66 .
