Title: 1967 S Code Automatic Distributor
Post by: Matt67 on May 07, 2023, 12:13:26 PM
Good morning. Could someone clarify the correct distributor for a 1967 390 4V GT A/C AT no smog car? It's a Dearborn car made 3/9/67.

If I am reading the spreadsheet correctly, it looks like it could be a C7AF-U or C7AF-V.  No mention if A/C narrows this down.

Thank you. A ford friend tried to convince me that a C7OF-12127-F was a better option.

The distributor application table in the 67 Ford Service Specifications book indicates given the equipment mentioned C7AF-U for all GT and GTA models. C7SF-A is called out for all except GT and GTA models . I did not see a C7AF-V listed for any engine or model in the table.

C7OF-12127-F is listed for a thermactor engine.
