I am new to this forum but not new to the hobby. I have two 70 Boss 302's. The first I purchased in 1978 and restored about 25 years ago. I still have the care and take it to the occasional local show and on track event. The second I am in the middle of a concours restoration. This web site has been a great tool for the process. Thanks to everyone who helps.
Now for my question. I have searched the site and and many other sources and cannot find a definitive answer to what color the battery tray should be painted in my 70 BOSS 302? The car is Dearborn built with a build date of 6/29/1970. From my searches of the site I have seen: ?typically a batch paint color?, "semi-gloss black" and "Slop Gray" quoted. Any help on what the real answer is would be greatly appreciated.
