Title: Rear Brake Lines
Post by: bryancobb on April 27, 2011, 07:58:03 AM
I bought prebent brake lines for the rear axle.  I have installed Arvinode and am doing the brakes "AS IF" factory.  The line to the right wheel is perfect.  The line to the left wheel is about 5" too long.  I guess I'll have to get a double flaring too and cut it off.

Are you using a dual exhaust brake hose?  Might be what the difference is if you didn't order lines to match.  Or, could simply be a mistake by the vendor/manufacturer.

Yes Charles,
I bought the Dual Exhaust long line to firewall, the "L" bracket to relocate the connection to the dual exhaust spot, the dual exhaust rubber hose, the dual exhaust vent line hollow bolt, and the dual exhaust brake lines.

I know there were two widths of rear axle housings.  Maybe the prebent left line is for the longer one.
