Title: VIN FENDER loacation for SAN JOSE

Would anybody know which side a mach1 san jose VIN fender location would be?

Of all the Mustangs Ive seen with both fenders removed regardless of build plant there was always one VIN on each fender apron.

- and located to the rear of the fender apron near the hinges, usually hidden by the fender.

During 1970 production at San Jose they were typically stamped on the heavier shock tower not the inner fender panels/aprons before or after the shock tower as shown in the examples below, This examples represents cars built before and after your cars build period 0R105xxx - 0R16xxxx

Both of my San Jose build mustangs have their VINs stamped on both the left and right shock towers in the same place as the photos Jeff posted.
9R02H17xxxx May 1969 and 0R05H13xxxx January 1970
