Title: Block casting number 200 CID

Would a 65 Mustang with a scheduled build date of 29 K (October 29,1964) have a part number on the block of C4 or C5? Mine has C5DE-6015. I can?t read the stamping above the draft tube, is that where the date code should be?

Sorry for the delay.

Don't have a good answer. The castings are far down on the passenger side and the engineering number is often covered with the bottom of the exhaust manifold and pipe connection

If the  yours is like later versions the date it forward of the engineering number as shown in the picture below

66 and 68 versions below
