Wanting to buy 1-4 of these. Photo shows a repro part. Extract from MPC also attached.

There's a very nice reproduction with correct engineering numbers, I believe Brown's Autobody had them reproduced. I bought a pair off ebay a few weeks ago, but looks like the seller is out of stock.

Yes those are nice . Unfortunately I have heard since Chris passed RIP not much if anything of the products he had reproduced is being shipped to venders.

Thanks for responding. Can you post a link to the old ebay sale/auctiion? Sad to hear the news of Chris' passing.

The Dead Nuts on site used to have the Chris Brown drains listed , but I can no longer find them
He had them for the Muechen plant and Dearborn if i remember correctly , some slight differences

Thanks for that. Yes, I can't find them either.
Now this is interesting, another completely different 1968 Mustang model part which is not even mentioned in the MPC C8ZB-6511202-A. These were NOS on ebay but sold.

Remember or at least consider that the MPC does not always list the engineering number (one marked on the part itself) but instead the part number (one on the package, bag or box).

Yep understood C7ZZ...is a (service) part number and C8ZB...is an engineering number but are you saying the part in the photo (C8ZB...) is what I'm looking for? In other words, C7ZZ-6511202-A is the part number for engineering part C8ZB-6511202-A?
I guess we might know if we had a photo of Chris Brown's part, as it was claimed it has the correct engineering number?

For others reading to keep in mind if they haven't read the entire thread is that the ad was from more then 6 years ago and unfortunately Chris passed away in 2021 at the young age of 52.

Thank you for that response. Two very similar parts.

Dead Nuts On has confirmed they no longer carry these parts :'(

Regarding which one you need, there are differences based on plant, where was your car built?

Build plant was Dearborn for Boss 351.

Noel,
hang in there, a deal is being worked out, and the Chris Brown parts should be available again.

Heh Bruce great news. Does the deal involve Dead Nuts On or some other retailer. If it does I can keep an eye on the DNO web site.

They are back on the DNO website
