Hello all- I am looking for an original spare tire hold down and nut for the space saver tire. For 70 Boss 302? Thanks!! -Mike

I have some of the original ford spare tire hold down J hook bolts , with wing nuts and even the small circular retainer plates from various mustangs.
I dont know what yours is supposed o look like , but If you can provide a pic or measurements of the style correct for your car , I can see if I have one for you

I have no idea thats why I am on here? its a 70 boss 302 with the space saver spare

This is a picture of the special J bolt for space saver .
It is designated as "C" in the quad. The 70 Boss 302 is B in the quad. It is from Scott Fullers Reproductions You might check with him to see if he has any more. If not I may have a extra I keep as a spare so check with Scott first.

It is from Scott Fuller Reproductions website. https://www.scottfullerreproductions.com/page/page/4594567.htm

The '70 BOSS 302 appears to be the "B" version, not the "C" version stated in the previous post.
-
It is my understanding that the Boss , Mustangs and Shelby?s all used the same SS hook. If I am wrong about the Boss usage then excuse me. The C version is the typical SS hook. You can contact Scott Fuller for more info.
My comment is based on the photos posted above which indicate "B" for a '70 B302.
I've only owned two '70 B302s, but both had the type "B".
My cars were both Dearborn-built.

Thank you for pointing out the the B example in the quad picture is correct for 70 Boss 302. On Scott Fullers website confirms application. The C version is correct for space saver equipped 69 and 70 Shelby Space Saver which I am more acquainted with and my field of interest.
