Title: AC Metal-Tag Placement, "AC OK" Stamp?
Post by: autonomousbronco on May 29, 2011, 07:30:51 PM
Where would be the correct placement of the metal AC Tag? I've seen them generally bolted to the top of the AC compressor on the driver's side, but I'm unsure if if should be on the front most or rear most bolt. Also, my AC compressor is stamped "R-12" and "OIL" but I noticed that some 'stangs also have "AC OK" stampings on the inner fenders. Would that "AC OK" stamp be correct on a '65 San Jose plant car?

IMHO  no. Remember to always compare same time period + same plant ;)
