Title: Mach One trim piece color question
Post by: DaveF on October 09, 2024, 11:35:16 PM
My question is about the proper color of the Chevron shaped piece that is attached to the fill panel behind the front bumper. It is attached with 4 small screws. When I took it off of the vehicle, it was painted black, but I?m not sure that is correct. Should it be the same charcoal color as the grill and rocker moldings, or just black? Thanks

Only a portion is painted.

Yes, same color as the paint on the headlight doors and the trim around them.

I don't own a Mach 1, but I believe that the rocker trim is a darker gray...

When you say that you think that only a portion is painted, what do you mean?

Can't find a better pic, so I posted this one.
The painted portion is the flat, center part. The raised edges are left unpainted.

So, am I correct in understanding that the headlight doors, grill and fill panel are all the same shade of grey?

Yes
