Hi Guys
spending TIME here , searching and comparing photos/info!!!!
Have read about the "ribbon seal" (Bob) used and attaching a photo of WIDE
piece in inner lower quarter of fastback.
BUT I'm questioning if same was used "between panels" (quarter to rocker ) OR IF that was the style WIPED with a thinner rag to smooth ??

I don't think it was used between panels, but due to the self-leveling nature, it flowed into open seams. I've mainly found that type sealer in drip rails, cowl edges and a-pillar to side cowl seams.

Thanks Charles,
I figured they didn't PUT between (to interfer with welds) but "seems" (no pun intended) it was much thinner and seaped back. Would like to use a similar/cream PINKISH tint material but not sure if that color is the result of 50+ years of age.
