Title: Oil Pressure Gauge Reading - 70 428CJ
Post by: Yellow r code on May 31, 2025, 11:24:47 AM
Is there another location on my 428 to put a oil gauge  line to read the oil pressure other than the oil filter adapter. Will the oil adapter give a true reading for the gauge? Thanks

Not a better one I can think of unless you want to reinvent the wheel. The oil goes through the filter adapter first after being pumped by the oil pump before being directed to the rest of the engine. Yes it is the pressure feed that the gauge is designed for.

Ok Bob, I just put a gauge on the oil adapter. I have 60psi at half of a drill and full drill 68psi.
