What is the difference between a 68 gt350 and gt500 fan shroud?

They are just different items. The assembly line BB shrouds are hard to find because of the demand but the one year only C8ZE 24" J code shroud is a bugger to find. It was serviced by the C9ZZ version.

A photo of the difference Tim was referring to. Fairly dramatic when compared side by side. The one on top is the C8 -A BB shroud and the bottom is the C8-B SB shroud. Bob
