Can some one explain what needs to be done?

I'm thinking I know who this is. ;) If I am correct you have a May car which means the Ford lead to the sender is cut by the # 5-6 cylinder ans attached to the Shelby lead with a white scotch lok.
Earlier cars are different for those reading
