Title: Exhaust clamps at the trumpets
Post by: Angela on July 12, 2011, 05:34:03 PM
Concerning the exhaust clamps used at the junction between the tailpipe and trumpets, would 1967 SanJose cars built late in the model year have seen the "tall shoulder" clamps with cadmium or phosphate nuts? Or, were the "short shoulder" clamps used through 67 and only 68 cars saw the "tall" version?

The tips are clamped to the tailpipe with a horseshoe clamp like in the link below.
