Title: Coil / Distributor Wire Length
Post by: bryancobb on July 22, 2011, 02:19:22 PM
Approximately how long was the little wire going from the coil stud into the distributor.
If it was long... what did the Windsor plant do with all the excess?  Was it wrapped around the heater hose inlet or just wadded up?

I paid Tim O'Connor to put an OEM FoMoCo wire on my distributor when he restored it and it seems way too long.  I'm thinking
of trying to invisibly alter its' length.

Take it your asking about an early V8 lead since the lengths differ depending on application - the reason for the different boot colors
