Title: 69 Dearborn 390 Engine Paint - Help Needed
Post by: G Wood on August 13, 2011, 03:45:04 PM
When painting the water pump, does the small pulley that is part of the pump get painted blue? Is the harmonic balancer blue or black?

Thanks

If you mean the flange the pulley gets bolted to then yes it gets painted. The balancer is black. Bob

My next question is whether the the oil filter adapter is blue of natural aluminum?

Does anyone happen to have a photo of an unrestored 390 or a restored 390?

Thanks

The adapter and gasket were added later and were in painted. Bob
