What is the translation ?

From the book, 70 Boss 302.

Thank you. I knew the '70 Boss 302 D0ZA part but trying to determine what the other numbers and letters mean. Date codes or whatever ?

Off hand, 97G C might be, 9 - 1969, 7 - 7th day, G - July, and plant "C".
Date codes are in a lot of formats.
