Title: 67 Painted Stripe option?

Met a guy today who asked me a question about an option which showed up on his marti report and had him confused. It stated "Painted Black Stripe" right on top of the options list. I asked him if it was a GT and he said no. 67 A code fastback. So where was the black stripe? Ive seen some 68's with a painted pinstripe along the top crease on the sides of the car. Was it a pinstripe? The lower rocker stripes were decals and the flat black hood stripes were a 68 option I believe.

Yes it was a painted pen stripe. My 68 HCS had it on the Marti report. I have not decided if I am going to put it on with the High Country Special Stripes, that's a lot of stripes. Marty

Thanks for confiming Marty. Couldnt figure out what this was but guessed.
