Title: A little help needed on a 1967 Mustang...
Post by: sharpm1 on December 12, 2011, 12:32:27 AM
I had the dash cluster out over the weekend and came across this paper strip laying between the cluster and the radio on the back side of the dash ledge.  It is a piece of paper-like material with the number 1-1 on it.  It appears to have a plastic tape protecting the paper.  Photos are attached of the item.  Curious if anyone knows what the significance of this might be for a 67 Dearborn Coupe?

Looks like (well similar) the the wiring labels that showed who inspected or assembled the loom. But normally I've only seen then (the best I recall) I've always seen them with  no dash between any of the numbers.  Sometimes there is a date on the label also but they have been a bit different then the one you posted

Best guess I've got that this point.

I've seen those taped to wiring looms also, usually the main harness and also sometimes on the tail light harness.  My best guess is either a shift or worker ID.
