Did 65 or 66 starter solenoids have date codes on them? If so, does anyone have a pic of an original?
Thanks,
Dave

OK Dave took a trip out to the shop and this is what I found (will find time to get all the variations out and post an article when I get time after the 1st)
Looks like none on the FoMoCo early ones I have without vents

Thanks Jeff, The original from my 66 dearborn looks exactly like your first set of photo's. It was so rusted I thought that maybe there was a date code I just couldn't see. Looks like the date stamps came later.
