Title: 67 Shelby under hood color
Post by: C9ZZD0ZZ on January 07, 2012, 03:29:25 PM
Working on 2 67 Shelby's, one early car in the 300`s with steel subframe one later car 1700`s all glass and want to know what color they should be. the steel framed hood appears to have been color of car the fiberglass one looks like it was black. What's correct? And on the early car what color should the udner side of the steel frame trunk lid be? Also apprears to have been color of the car.
Thank you

Steel innerstructure hood and trunk lid is body color. The #300 should have bothe steel iinerstructure hood and trunklid. All fiberglass hood and trunk lid could be be ether bare fiberglass or blacked out. The black out was done before painting the top side so there should be overspray on the bottom side slightly. Bob
