Title: 1970 scj idle solenoid
Post by: rayms69 on January 10, 2012, 09:19:42 AM
My car is a 1970 scj,  is the idle solenoid required or is the dash pot sufficient.  I have the blue wired D0OZ solenoid, the car doesn't have A/C

two green wires one white and one black, same loom as starter solenoid and alternator. These must be for a/c right?

I've been restoring 70 harnesses for 4 years, and there's no good documentation for the white plug, other than it was for emissions.  What I've consistently seen is that the wire color is a blue wire with a large white female bullet plug, and for A/C cars, a green wire with a large black female bullet plug.
