Hi guys,
I have the really nice rear end shown in these pictures, in, and being driven, in my March 66 C-Code convertible. It is smooth as silk, doesn't leak
at the pinion seal, and runs quiet. The problem is, it is a 7A7 date code rear end and is the incorrect engineering number for my car.
I'm pretty sure it is 2:80 like the OEM unit was.
If anyone has one in good condition that is date correct for my car and is interested in swapping, I would much appreciate it.
I will pay shipping for both.
Look closely at the tag in the picture. The tag is for the rear end I NEED, not the one I have. When the P.O. put the 67
unit in, he DID swap the old tag off the correct OEM rear end.
Thanks
