Has anyone ever discovered a pattern as to which style of defroster hose was used at each factory in any given time period?

My Jan,6 1965 Dearborn conv, has round. I have seen round and square in 1964, and square in late 1965 in all plants. Jeremy

i have only ever viewed one mustang that had the round defroster ducts and that was san jose built february 1965 convertible. I still own several unrestored 1966 cars from all production plants and they all have square examples. As to whether someone has done a time line between the variations aan plants im not sure on, but think Jeff and Charles from previous conversations had opinions on when they began and changed at san jose.

Thanks Jeremy and Phill. My car--January '65 Dearborn-- has the round style and I need to find one replacement. Most of the used ones I see are the square style; they must have been the more predominate style at all plants.??

I believe I have a good original short one. How soon do you need it? Send me a PM to discuss.
