Title: 1968 dash pads...another question

I was reading the question below, and have a related question, All of the catalogs list a repro dash pad for a 67-68 exc. late 68 I have a late 68 and thought they were all the same. can someone point out the difference to me ? ( I'm guessing it's mounting hole location, but i'm not sure)  Thank's John

The 68's have the cutout for the VIN tag.

The reproduction pads are nothing like the originals.
