Title: 1969 Mustang Heater Motor - Blower Wheel
Post by: rocket289k on August 09, 2012, 02:20:44 AM
Hi Everyone,

I've been looking for a heater blower fan wheel (aka hamster wheel) and can't seem to find one. Does anyone know of a supplier where I can buy the blower wheel and retaining ring with Allen key?

The original wheel was completely seized to the old heater motor shaft and couldn't be removed without bending it.

Regards,

Ron

A junkyard part or buy a assembly on Ebay.

Thanks Bob - that's what I figured.  The unit we were taking apart was completely seized onto the shaft and no amount of persuasion was freeing the wheel from the old motor.

Ron

Missouri mustang should have one.  When I was hunting for some heater box parts a saw a complete blower motor with cage.  http://missourimustang.com/ (http://missourimustang.com/)
