Title: Phosphated 69 hood latch, correct shade?
Post by: racerjmm33 on August 16, 2012, 09:55:28 PM
Just tried the zinc phosphate and oil treatment on the hood latch. Came out real nice, but, is it the correct shade for a 6/19/69 Dearborn built Mach 1 R code?

Nice, and welcome to the forum. I think it may be a bit too dark as over time most of my hinges, latches and other phosphated items turn darker. And oil it well.
