I am working on a 66 San Jose fastback, Built in April. The doors and side windows are assembled and adjusted. Not sure about the 2 bolts at the back of the doors that adjust the rear window track. Should the bolts have a star washer or disc? Or maybe it does not matter? Thanks

It can be either style depending on where/when the car was built. If you have the original doors, you can look for a "footprint" of the original bolts.

Agree with Charles - check for witness marks
If the doors have been replaced well then that is not an option
I've got pictures showing stars for that application and plant from 170000 to approx 213000
Would be interesting to know if this matches what you find

Thanks for the info. Yes, the doors were replaced, but in the pile of parts [some useble, some not] that came with the car, I found what I think are the original doors. The date codes seem to fall into the range of when the car was built. It looks like they had the star washers. The serial # falls in the range you mentioned Jeff. 180000's. Looks like star washer it is. Thanks again. Doug
