Speedometer cable for a 69, NJ, four speed car with drag pack adapter. Existing; empty plastic loop just about the middle of the firewall and 3" above the RF brake line. One ' C ' shaped strap with hex head screw attaching to the tunnel on the passenger side just above the bell housing. Is there another clip location on the firewall somewhere ? The only solid attachment, now, is the ' C ' clamp/strap in the tunnel. Thanks, Brian

I think there should be another retainer (metal, screwed on) close to the steering column area. Sorry, I don't have a picture handy and I'm not home to take one.

Thanks Jim for the reply. Now at least I know where to be looking. The speedo cable goes through the plastic loop ? A photo of the clip/clamp, @ steering wheel area, and the type of screw would be great. Brian

Hope this helps - screw looks to be the same/similar to the ones holding the brake lines in place (Pic from 9T02R1601xx)
