Title: Trunk fuel sending wire, attachment
Post by: priceless on January 17, 2013, 12:10:38 PM
I need a photo of the trunk fuel sending wire where it attaches to the L.S. trunk seam OR, a good description of its location. I was in Pensecola FL last March and I had a point deducted for not having a "zip tie" attaching the wire to the left trunk seam where the trunk seam protector is located.

What color is the zip tie(white, black?) and the exact location. Any help would be appreciated.

Feb. 24,'69 build date,Metuchen,NJ, '69 Mach1.

Opaque ("white") nylon zip tie (about 6 1/2" long)  Normally inserted from the passenger side of the hole, around capturing the wires than through the lock . The end aims towards the passenger side and is untrimmed

What I've always found

Pan Duit was the MFG. AMK sells them . The electrical supply looks close for most purposes.

So, the "zip tie" hold both the eletrical wires and the fuel sending wire?  And also, after installation, it looks like,by viewing the photos, the zip tie isn't clipped, its left long? Thanks for any responses.
