May 70 Dearborn, B2.
I have checked the archives as well as other sites on date coding and can't answer this.
These are the 2 short power steering hoses between the control valve and ram
My original hoses are stamped:
CYL C60A 3A714 A 1110
and
CYL C60A 3A717 A 1200
Are the markings 1110 and 1200, dates codes and if so how do they decode? They do not look like a month and year as on other hose types.
Also in the Osborn Chassis Assembly manual page 83, it indicates that the end of each hose has a blue daub. I see absolutely no sign of blue paint, which does not surprise me given the age and location. Was there really paint there? And if so any pictures?
Thanks
