Does any one have picture showing the fog lamp wiring through radiator core support. A buddy of mine needs to know how the hole is supposed to look. He is trying to determine if his car is an original GT. That's all I know.

The holes were drilled with a hole saw, although you will read over and over how they were "punched", which is not true. There is typically a slight edge on the back of the hole.
-
That's what I was looking for, thanks

There are many more ways to determine the GT originality. Don't just rely on drilled holes.

As Charles and other have stated it's best not to get hung up on just the rad support holes for the fog lamp wiring to determine if a car is or is not a true factory GT. The kcode.net site has a pretty good (and for the most part accurate) checklist of items that can be used to validate both 65 and 66 Factory GTs. If the car happens to be a Metuchen built car and it still has it's buck tag attached to the passenger side fender you should see the code PIO on the buck tag (PIO is assumed to mean Performance Image Option aka GT. Note: Sometimes PIO was abrieviated to only PI as well.)

As with most things for 1965 / 66 Mustangs it takes a bit of detective work to determine some facets of the car's originality since we can't rely on Marti reports like owners of Mustangs 1967 and newer. On 65 and 66 GTs you need to try to check-off as many items off the list as possible to raise the probablity that the car is true factory GT.

Is that your website?

Hi Charles - that isn't my website - I've just referenced it in the past and it was helpful so I thought I'd pass it along.
