Title: AM Radio Restoration tips?
Post by: Angela on March 10, 2013, 09:16:57 PM
In the past I've read about various shops who for a fee will restore your 7TPZ AM Philco radio so that on the outside it looks 100% original but on the inside there are at least a few options for potentially including an MP3 player input or other. The place I had in mind appears to be out of business.

Can anyone recommend a shop they used for this purpose and let me know if they were happy with the outcome?

There is a guy here in Phoenix AZ that will rebuild your radio and you can either keep it stock or he can make it play AM/FM and hook up an aux jack so you can plug in a MP3 player.  PM and I can get you his contact information....
