Is there a difference between 1967/8 Mustangs & shelby fastbacks such that in the former the rear bumper guard bolts (inside trunk) would be painted body color and the latter would not be painted?
In Shelby discussion I saw a picture showing the bumper guard bolts not painted:

I realize cars get wrenched on and bolts can be changed over the years, so I thought I'd ask the question to clear this up in my mind. :-)

The picture of the bolt painted in the trunk is for the bumper guard bracket that is installed behind the rear valence. If you notice in the picture, there is an empty hole farther up, which is where the bumper guard attaches. This configuration would be the same for all cars with factory-installed rear bumper guards.
