Title: 1970 Steering Wheel
Post by: dbirchmire on May 24, 2013, 10:10:23 AM
Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if a 1969 standard wheel is the same as a 1970 ? Having problems with my 70 wheel and have found a nice 69 one for sale. Thanks,

The 70 - up has a lock ring (a toothed round disc - for lack of a better term) on the back side of the wheel for the locking steering column which was new for Mustang in 70

The 69 does not so they are not the same.
