Hello,
Need help with both the end of the axle and the rectangle plate (the red primer parts)...what paint color/finish should these be?

Green arrow - Recall
Semi-gloss black but will assume the others will confirm or correct ;)
Blue arrow - Dark heat treated bare steel
Orange arrow - bare steel with brighter machined (bare) surfaces

Green arrow - Bare stamped steel in my opinion.

Green arrow bare steel as well. I have been phosphating and tumbling them to get them to look close to original.
So to answer the questions here, none of the pieces should have any paint on them.
The only thing you are painting is the axle housing and the third member carrier.
Also missing the axle sleeves from what I see. I assume these are 31 spline axles.

Thanks guys...appreciate the help. These are 28 spline axles for a 73 Mach if that makes any difference.
