Title: Cleaning oil out of push on oil cap
Post by: MWM on June 29, 2013, 12:31:36 PM
I have a a little residue on top of the valve cover and am told I need to clean out the push on oil cap. My question is, how do I clean the wire filter media out without damaging the chrome?
Thanks!

Scott Drake was speaking at the Reno awards banquet and he said that the Ford spec. for the oil cap filter was hog's hair. I would have never have guessed that.

Hog's hair! Next you will tell me that camel hair brushes aren't from camel's hair.  ;)
