Title: Replate my carbarator for my 70 351C or not?

Do I need to replate my carb. or leave it like it is? It looks really good to me!

Much of the dye is gone and there is writing on the body so I would have it redone or do it myself. Once you get everything else looking new (if you leave it) then it will look out of place and a distraction

Been there - done that :(

On second thought not something most of us should consider given the number of deaths in recent years of carburator restorers. The dye can be very nasty and can many of the related chemicals needed.
