That moment where you are thrilled and scared you'll scratch something all at once. Took the first trip in the Pace Car before it goes to the show this weekend.
Notables:
1. Four wheel drum brakes SUCK.
2. Bias ply tires LIKEWISE.
3. Overfilling the power steering resevior really makes a mess. Cleaning it up now.
4. Overall it was fun!
Will be displaying the Pace Car in the Dallara Indycar plant for our Friday night welcoming bash this Friday, Aug 9. Hope to see you there.

Dave, I would agree with you, took mine out for the first time
just recently and boy what a difference from my 2011 daily driver!
The steering wheel was really noticable to me, very thin, big and
turns so easy with power steering.
Had planned on coming over to the show in Indy but plans changed.

Well I knew that four wheel drums and bias ply tires were awful before I drove it. Still a kick to drive!

Yes, they are fun to drive! Brings back memories to me
when I drove them in high school during the 70's in Indy.
We started the Mustang club in Indy back in 79 and had
a National MCA show in 1980 at the Indy 500 track infield.
