Title: 70 boss 302 cowl paint color - Metuchen

What color should the cowl area be painted from the cowl to the windshield pinch welds on a 1/23/70 metuchen built boss 302,   ,chassis black or body color any picturers of original cars would be helpfull,

By 70 all the cowls (above the firewall to cowl pinchweld) were blacked out.

this change happened in early to mid April of 69
prior to that they are body color.

Think your referring to Dearborn nor NJ - correct?

Wish we had real production dates on all the samples/examples to get possibly a specific date. I've got the April 10th or 11th 1969 from projected dates at Dearborn
